Erin B. Sutton, DMD
Dr. Sutton graduated with a Bachelors of Science/Biology-Pre-professional Degree from our very own University of West Florida, and later received her Doctorate from the University of Florida, College of Dentistry. Soon after graduation, Dr. Sutton worked in a private practice with an experienced dentist for 3 years. During that time, she returned to the University of Florida to earn her Pediatric Conscious Sedation permit from the State of Florida. Shortly after her second child was born, Dr. Sutton began her own dental practice in Ft. Walton Beach in 2001. Dr. Sutton is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Erin Sutton and her team are also members of the Crown Council. Dr. Sutton has spent many hours on continuing education to keep up with the ever changing field of Dentistry. Dr. Sutton is married with 2 children. She enjoys boating, fishing, and reading. She also spends her time outside of the office enjoying her family, and friends. Dr. Sutton believes it is a privilege to be able to provide dental care to her patients. She enjoys helping those who are in need especially patients that are unable to be treated in other offices due to their special needs.
Danielle D. Grimes, DDS
Dr. Grimes graduated with her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Meharry Medical College in 2009. She then proceeded to a post-doctoral General Practice Residency at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Grimes provides comprehensive dental care to include surgical extractions, root canals, beautiful crowns, bridges, dentures and partial dentures. She has experience treating medically compromised patients, children and special needs patients in both an office and operating room setting. She also completed an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Program Externship at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. Dr. Grimes enjoys exercising and traveling when she is not practicing dentistry.
Angel (Certified Dental Assistant and Practice Manager)
Angel received her degree in Dental Assisting from Spartanburg Technical College in 1983. Soon after, she was awarded National Board Certification in chairside assisting, orthodontic assisting, and radiology. Her professional experience includes work as a dental assistant in a family practice, a periodontal practice, an orthodontic practice, and at the Eglin AFB Federal Prison Dental Clinic under the auspices of the Bureau of Prisons.
Angel moved to the Gulf Coast area in 1989. Committed to continuing education to increase her knowledge and enhance her skills, she became interested in promoting continuing education for others in the dental assisting field and was part of a team that created and implemented the dental assisting program at Okaloosa Walton College in 2003. Once the program was instituted, she served as part-time instructor at the college until joining the Emerald Coast Dentistry team as a dental assistant in January 2005. Angel’s exceptional administrative and organizational skills elevated her to the position of Practice Manager, which incorporates a host of responsibilities to assist patients and team members alike, as well as ensuring that Emerald Coast Dentistry runs in a smooth and seamless manner. Angel was awarded "Office Manager of the Year" through the Crown Council in 2009 for her continued hard work and dedication to the practice.
Crystal (Concierge and Appointment Coordinator)
Crystal grew up in a small agricultural community in Kansas. Transported from her home state like Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, she isn’t in Kansas any more—today, her kind and friendly personality and attention to detail is an important facet of Emerald Coast Dentistry. Almost always, the first voice patients calling the practice hear is Crystal’s. It is Crystal who answers questions about hours and schedules appointments, sees to it that patients are comfortable before and after appointments, and helps patients fill out those complicated medical history forms. With almost a decade of experience working in medical and dental practices; Crystal has learned to perform an infinite number of "behind-the scenes" magic tricks to make things run smoothly for everyone associated with our practice.
Angie (Registered Dental Hygienist)
Angie is a local girl who attended Fort Walton Beach High School, earned an AA degree from OWCC, and an RDH degree from Pensacola Junior College. She joined Emerald Coast Dentistry in 2002 and her professional philosophy is to deliver excellent comprehensive care with a gentle hand, a gentle word, and a gentle smile.
Kelly (Insurance Coordinator)
Kelly is originally from Chicago (Go Bears!) She met and married her husband while in the military stationed at Eglin AFB, FL. She was an F-15 Fuel Systems Mechanic in the Air Force. She then moved to California and earned her Associates in Business Administration at Antelope Valley College in Lancaster, CA. She worked as a Billing and Insurance Coordinator for a Orthodontist. She then moved back to Eglin AFB, FL and joined our team at Emerald Coast Dentistry.
Jennifer (Registered Dental Hygienist)
Jennifer is a local girl who was raised on the Emerald Coast. She graduated from Fort Walton Beach High School with honors and earned her Associate of Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene at Pensacola Junior College. Always striving to improve her skills and knowledge, Jennifer's gentle touch and attention to the patient's needs put them at ease in the dental chair so that they can relax and learn something new each visit. Her goal as a dental hygienist is to promote good oral health while educating her patients in a comfortable, enjoyable atmosphere. Her husband serves in the United States Air Force and is stationed at Eglin AFB, FL. They have two children, Ava and Logan.
Natalie (Registered Dental Hygienist)
Natalie moved to the Fort Walton Beach area from Colorado in 1994. She earned her Associate of Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene at Pensacola Junior College in 2001. Natalie takes pride in educating her patients, and her gentle hand is always welcomed. Natalie is universally respected for her professional skills, and she is increasingly more involved in the treatment of the oral health conditions of all her patients. Natalie is married and is the mother of two gorgeous children.
LaNee' (Registered Dental Assistant)
LaNee' grew up in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She received her Registered Dental Assisting Certificate from the state of California in 2006. While living there she met her husband, Josh, who attended the United States Air Force Academy. After graduation, they were stationed here in Fort Walton Beach at Hurlburt Field. She loves the outdoors and brings alot of excitement to our practice with her adventurous stories. A few of her favorite outdoor activities are sky diving and scuba diving. When LaNee' is in the office treating and seeing her patients she is very professional with her knowledge of dentistry and her comforting, gentle touch.
Jennifer (Certified Dental Assistant)
Jennifer is originally from Biloxi, MS and moved to the local area in 1997 after her father was reassigned to Eglin, AFB. She is a graduate of Crestview High School. After high school Jennifer attended NWFSC where she received her Expanded Functions Dental Assisting Certificate in 2009. In addition, Jennifer has obtained her National Board Certification in general dental chairside assisting and radiology. Jennifer's warm personality and gentle touch helps our patients feel comfortable. Jennifer is very professional when she is educating her patients in dental care. We are glad that she is part of our dental team.
